Underway
Amsterdam boatyard
A season of precise work, measured against my original spirit.
Amsterdam relaunch · 2026
I am a 100-foot classic sailing schooner, reborn through the discipline of an Amsterdam boatyard, ready to return to the water beneath a northern sky.
Request press informationThe return to water
I was designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects, who shaped my lines and my interior. My relaunch is not a restoration story alone — it is the meeting point of timber, steel, and sailcloth, and a return to the horizon I was built for.
A rigorous return to the lines that define me.
Every detail reset for open water.
Amsterdam waters, met without compromise.

Reesle is an approximately 100-foot, twin-masted sailing schooner created for serious ocean voyaging. Launched in 1995 by Engelaer Scheepsbouw in the Netherlands, she was designed inside and out by the respected Dutch naval architecture firm Hoek Design. Her classic lines, generous proportions, and all-aluminum construction give her an unusually strong combination of elegance, durability, and long-range capability.
Measuring approximately 30.4 meters in length, with a beam of about 6.9 meters and a draft of approximately 3 meters, Reesle has the presence of a classic superyacht while retaining the practical characteristics of an expedition vessel. Her aluminum hull and superstructure were designed for strength and reliability, while her teak elements, traditional schooner rig, and carefully proportioned profile create a timeless appearance.
